My To Be Read List Winner January 2017

I'm excited to anounce my first TBR List Read of the Year. My stats the past two Januarys has been to read 2 out of my 3 TBR list books. That is why I put books I really want to read on the list. My winner for January is....

A Thousand Nights took all the votes this month. Fly Away Home got two votes and Friendship didn't get any. I will be reading A Thousand Nights next. This book will count towards #ShelfLove and my Homework Assignment challenge, so it is a great way to start off the year.

I have big goals for Januay and lots of books that I want to read in January. I'm starting off the new year right with the Biannual Bibleothon. This takes place from January 8-16th. I may be out of town during the weekend, so I will have to get as much reading as possible done during the week. Here are my goals and reading challenges I hope to complete.

The Leaving by Tara Altebrando is going to satify the challenge to read a 2016 release. Of the 2016 releases I want to read this is surprisingly one of the only ones my library has.

A Thousand Nights satifies the challenge to read a retelling. This book will also satisfy the challenge of a book you were really excited for, but never picked up.  This is also apart of my Homework assignment challenge, so this would be a great way to start off the new year.

The Infinite Moment of Us satifies the throwback challenge to complete a challenge from a previous biblethon. I picked the book that you have been putting off. This book has been featured on many monthly TBR's and I never actually read it. 2017 is the year it is going to happen.








If I have time I will choose books to complete other challenges or books off my January TBR post, which will be posted soon. I have a huge TBR and lots of goals I want to complete in early January.


I'm starting the bibliothon on pg 274 of The Infinite Moment of Us. I will finish this probably today and move on to A Thousand Nights this week.

My To Be Read List 2016 Wrap Up

This year I only managed to read three books for My TBR List. I'm planning on participating in 2017 with the hope that I can keep up and read some of those neglected books on my TBR. I will be focusing on books I own early in the year to decrease the number of unread books I own. 

I manged to finish My Life Next Door, Winter Garden, and I'll Give You the Sun. I loved all of these books. I did end up DFNing Cloaked by Alex Flinn because I was not enjoying the book. 

2017 Challenges

The TBR Dare is back with some new hosts and its own website at TBR Dare Website. The new hosts are Lizzy's Literary Life and Anabookbel. I love this challenge as usual the challenge is to just read books that you own until April 1st. My goal is to always limit the new releases I read until April 1st. I'm allowed to read library books as long as they were previously on my TBR list. I'm ending 2016 with 368 books on my goodreads TBR list. My goal is as always to reduce the number of books on my TBR.

It is always a continual goal for me to read books on my goodreads TBR list. I started 2016 with 335 books on my TBR and I'm starting 2017 with 368 books on my TBR list. The list is endless as authors continue to write and there is a million good books out there. I used random.org to choose 3 books from my goodreads TBR list. These books are very different from each other. I'm interested to see which one you guys choose.

A novel about two friends learning the difference between getting older and growing up
