2014 Book of the Year Bracket Challenge Final 32


January 6th : Initial eliminations. All rounds of eliminations needed to get the number of contestants reduced to 32. 
January 8th Elimination to find the Sweet Sixteen.
January 10th : Reducing challengers to eight books - the Elite Eight.
January 13th Quarterfinals. Determine your Final Four.
January 15th : Semi-Finals. Only two may enter the final arena.
January 17th : Finals...the Champion will be determined. Announce your Book of the Year! 

The first round of eliminations. There is still some books I don't care for in this section. Here is the books that remain.

The entire NewSoul, Pivot Point, and Burn for Burn series made it to the final 32. Also every book I read by Kasie West and most books by Rainbow Rowell made it to this round. Sweet 16 will be up on the 8th.

  1. We definitely have different tastes in books. I've only read 4 of your 64 list and The Night Circus would have made it to the end of any year, it's my most favorite book, ever. Also, I love Virgin River and Thunder Point by Robyn Carr, those are two of my favorite series, but I HATED Four Friends. I couldn't even finish it. Hope you are enjoying going through your books! :)

    1. I didn't enjoy Four Friends either, but I'm open to reading more books by Robyn Carr. I enjoy primarily Ya and Fairytale Retellings. This was such a fun way to pick my book of the year.
